Control Your Books also gives every client a strategy call/meeting once per year. In this appointment we will go over basic CFO/Controller Strategies with a unique emphasis on Tax Strategies. Most CFOs and Controllers only look at profits, not as concerned with overall tax strategies. Our strategy call will go over a combination of your business ratios, your other individual 1040 income, and your goals. Then we can develop an overall strategy balancing growing your small business and saving on overall tax burden. Your financial statements will be ready to enter data into your tax return and make preparing your taxes a breeze.Control Your Books will work with Wave, Google Sheets, or QuickBooks. We only recommend the product that is best for you and your level of activity, not what is best for the Bookkeeper. Many clients pay more for a subscription than they need. For example, a simple rental home business really only needs Wave or even a custom Google Sheet for each rantal. Please note that there are reasons to pay extra for certain accounting software and then there are times you are just overpaying for something you don't need. Another example, is a large volume of inventory or large volume of sales, then you would likely be best served with a more complex and robust software such as QuickBooks, Sage or other accounting software that is appropriate to your organization.

The above price is an example of our lowest cost flat rate. You will receive a quote shortly after the free Engagement Consultation.The onboarding fee is equal to the monthly or quarterly fee of your quote. No onboarding fee for a brand new business. If you just started a business or thinking of doing so, talk to us now and save. Typically, you will need to supply the closed bank and or any credit card statements for the most recent 3 months for the onboarding process.AP/AR Tracking is available and the fee is based on usage and complexity. With this service we can track your bills, use your pay bills app, invoice your customers, and assist with collecting your receivables.À la carte AR service. Email invoicing. Send your customers an invoice direct from "your accountant" and possibly receive more prompt payments. this À la carte service is $10 flat rate per invoice. (No AP/AR tracking with À la carte invoice service).We also offer other consultation services, ad hoc, and other project services starting at $400. Remember our customers also receive one free strategy appointment per year (typically in Nov or Dec for end of year CFO and Tax Strategy planning).
